Our Program is a five-week intensive course offering comprehensive water systems knowledge, practical skills, and industry-recognized certifications. By becoming a WaterWorkforce Work Partner, you gain continuous access to a pool of qualified entry-level candidates who have completed the program and are ready to start their careers as contracted apprentices with your utility. In collaboration with Cal Poly Pomona, WaterWorkforce is offering a no cost, 5-week intensive training program that prepares you to become an apprentice water systems operator. During the 5-week program, you will get hands-on experience and obtain an industry recognized Operator in Training (OTI) Certification. Once you complete the initial training and are placed with a utility as an apprenticeship, you will earn between $22.50-$27.00 per hour.
